“ The service is unparalleled, the food is Michelin star worthy, and the cottages are original and fun. The staff is top notch and their entire goal is to make you happy. It is such a unique and tranquil getaway. ”
“ Truly superb. Perfectly prepared dishes. Graciously and efficiently served. Comparability Per Se and Bernadine in NYC. ”
“ Ill be honest, I hadnt heard of this place. I didnt even know there was a town called Morris in CT. Tried to get a table for Valentines day, by they were booked out, so I thought Feb 13 works just a well and got a 7pm dinner. Starting with the valet and coat check at the gate, the service was very professional, which set a tone for the rest of the night. We both opted for the 3 course prixfixed menu for 99 each. The Octopus starter and Lamb pasta entree were stand outs. They have a comprehensive wine list as well, but choice is limited if youre ordering by the glass. Between each course, the chef sent us complimentary snacks that paired really well with the meal. After dessert, we spent a few minutes just hanging around the building and admired the restored historic house. Overall a very good experience for special occasions. ”
“ We came here for a little getaway after our wedding and had dinner the first night. The food was amazing. Each dish was better than the next if that is possible. The flavors were so on point and robust. I would definitely come Here again it is not to be missed. The service was also amazing, the wait staff was so polite and Personable. Overall exceptional experience ”
“ Good food. Games to keep you occupied while you are waiting. Good place for lunch. Not very crowded. ”
“ Top 3 dinners so far, easily. Gated entrance, waiting valet and coat check, with a guide to our table. Set in a beautiful old home, very faithfully restored. Warm ambiance set by several wood fireplaces, with a similarly warm and friendly staff. The food, prepared by Executive Chef Chris Eddy, was wonderfully plated and tasted even better than it looked. The deserts, by pastry chef Jim Hutchinson, were a great bookend to our experience at Winvian Farm. ”
“ Visited on Sunday lunch, and they were able to serve tasting menu that was not on the lunch menu. All the dishes were delicious and beautiful. The whole experience was about 2.5 hours, and the service was fabulous. I forgot the name of the server, but he was very professional and friendly. Its the only five diamond restaurant in Connecticut and should defintely try. ”
“ Absolutely incredible. Constantly changing selections, consistently delicious concoctions. Ambiance that invites, wine that excites. Amazing service and deep history, something here for everybody. Will be returning hungry for more. ”
